Well I'm just starting with texture tile creation. It's going okay, but still haven't found out how to get the lay over perfectly. But when I do, I'll be making mass textures, adding anything I can find at the visible earth at nasa.

The speed depends on many factors, mainly the client you use (overnet is not a good choice, IMHO) and the server (Razorback 2 is the best choice, IMO).

Emule is not the best solution, but it is the only one now working.

Maybe you could program something into your site so that other ppl can also add addons to your site, so you wouldn't have to bear the entire load of checking and updating all updates for celestia

Well, after checking motherlode, I think it's no more needed. Motherlode's aim is exhaustiveness, so it better fits what your waiting for ;-)

Hey PSy,

I think also one place for everything celestia related greatly helps. One site is better than two. If just everyone would put their add-ons on the motherload it would be fine.

Your work on your previous site however was greatly appreciated, I did manage to get the 128k South west england VT which was really great!
