Hello Celestials!
I'm a new entry comin'in with a little request:
Is there anyone able to create a simple star system (like the ones coded in the .stc files) to simulate the Zeta Reticuli binary system????
Here's an useful link (..i suppose ) :

Ah, no, no. I suppose you are asking for lens flares. That is a camera artifact, and developers here like realism and accuracy - not device-distorted views, sorry .
However, chris talked about taking a different approach here.
probably i explained in a bad way my ideas..ty
No, you explained it well!! Sorry, it was my fault - I unlinked the second part of your post from the first just from seeing the image. Yes man, I'm slow tonight!!
If you feel motivated, you can try to code it yourself, if you have enough information of the stars involved. For documentation, look at the documentation of the format of a stc file (thanks selden&guilpain for that). Try to grab a sample file and modify it. For placing the stc file, look at Selden's introduction to Addons (Thanks again, selden).
It would be a fun and satisfying project!!
