Calling all Trekkies!

Hey guys, wasn't there talk of someone designing a few more textures of Trek Ships? I would REALLY love to see a mobile trek network in Celestia. Maybe a large spacestation orbiting earth with different ships patroling the Solar System, traveling to different stars, and orbiting real extrasolar planets already in the program. It could be a regular trek universe. If anybody has any links, let me know.

Hello Starman, I fully agree with you.
Moreover, and if I'm wrong please inform me, I've not found a nice "classic" Enterprise model (first Star Trek series).
Someone knows where to find one? :)
Thanks a lot!

Hi Andrea,

Try the following site (from Jestr):

ftp://81.108.220.185

and go to the Star Trek folder.

Download the Romulus.zip file.

An excellent classic Enterprise will be found there.

Now we need a good Enterprise-D.

Hope this meets your needs.

Best Wishes

Thanks a lot BS, it was there, but not visible if one doesn't download and open the Romulus file.
Well, now let's hope for the Enterprise-D.
By and thanks again

Hello Jestr, could be possible for you to insert in your ftp page a .txt file that explains what is contained in the various .zip files? 8O
This could be very useful to find items otherwise unknown, as e.g. the classic Enterprise model that is contained in the romulus.zip file.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Andrea,I will try this, but with my Star trek addons there are now a small screenshots file,if you download this it will show most of the various models in each system, also a lot of the models are available separately on my FTP in the 'spacecraft' folder. The Enterprise D is contained in the 'Denorios Belt.zip' positioned close to Bajor, all the best Jestr
