That's what I'm trying to tell you now... If I let the script bring up the the next
cel script in the controlling browser window, THEN if I press the "GO" button
in IE, the cel script is brought up and run in Celestia.

Take care, Bob

Maxim,

Hold off on tearing your hair out for a little while...

Mr. G has opened my eyes to a file association problem that exists on my PC.
It may be that I can cure this problem by un-installing and re-installing Celestia.

I think I'm going to give it a try and see what can be accomplished. I have
three cel associations listed on my system. One for cel files, one for cel" files
(note the quotation mark), and one for celx files.

Methinks the problem lies within *my* system, and NOT in your scripts.

Edit: OH HAPPY DAY... Mr. Maxim, your Pulsar scripts now work PERFECTLY
on my Brain-Dead machine. We can thank Mr. Don G(enius) for the fix. He
suggested that I un-install Celestia and re-install it, and this worked perfectly.
I have *no* idea why the associations were screwed up to begin with, but they
are certainly okay now. I'm a Happy Brain-Dead Bob, now.
Cheers Maxim, and thanks to the G-Man for his undying patience with this old
geezer. The Pulsar Tours are COOL man. :D

Thanks, Bob

Hey Bob,

thats really good news. You're encouraging me - there's more stuff for beeing included that way into a celestia tour script. Hopefully this may be the culprit for others problems too.

Now I've got to make sure that it's works too on linux and mac machines.

greetings,

maxim :)

I tried several of the html files. They created sound but no motion.

Hi Selden,

If you are still reading this thread ...

A while back (Feb?) one of the pre-releases fixed a Registry bug that had existed in previous versions. Since you are a believer in the re-name current dir and simply over-install an updated Celestia without UNinstalling the current version -- I would recommend that you do an UNinstall at some point (which deletes specific Registry keys) and a fresh install.

This *might* allow you to run maxim's add-ons, as it did for Bob.

Cheers,
-Don G.
