Daniel, I will need more information to about your Celestia directories and DSC file contents to find the cause of your difficulties. The script does work with standard setups - it will just be a matter of getting Celestia to find all your DSC files and associated model and texture files. Can you please describe your directory setup in the form I used in the previous post, and copy me the contents of the DSC files of the objects you are looking for. I am sure the problem will be in one of these. You may want to do this through email or personal messaging rather than in this forum, though I don't mind

Tim,

Your /celestia/ page is protected against reading.
Do you anticipate being able to provide a viewable index page there?

Yes Selden, I will put a very basic index page with all the available download links on it in the next day or so. One day I'll do a pretty site.

Some DSO files are not working.I unzip NGC 2237 to :
Extras>extras>Deep Space.
In this folder,I have IC 434,M57 and M51.
For a strange reason, these there weren?t working when I put inside Deep Space Objects, following the path Extras>DeepSpaceObjects.
About Rosetta Nebula,it is unzip in separate folders(textures, model and extras) and no in a unique folder, like NGC 2237.What can I do?
Other thing,I try to put the Eight Burst Nebula, but the Deep Space Tour don?t search for it.I think I have to use a bigger dsc or ssc deep space object. But which one?

Hi Daniel. Probably the most helpful response I can give you is to tell you the directory structure I use which works for showing all the DSOs you have downloaded from my website. It is as follows (in Windows):
Code:

..\celestia
|_extras
|_DeepSpaceObjects
|_
|_ Abell 39,M1 Crab Nebula,M16_Eagle Nebula folders,etc.

\celestia
|_extras
|_extras
|_Deep Space
|_IC 434 Horsehead Nebula,M57 Ring Nebula

Inside the folders, there is the dsc and stc files, the subfolders textures and models.
So I have two directories in the Extras Folders, and objects like M57 Ring didn?t work if I put in extras>DeepSpace Objects. That?s very weird, isn?t it?
Apparently, everything works OK if I didn?t change the place where I unzip, but in case of M27 Dumbell,NGC 2237 Rosetta and NGC 3132 Eight Burst Nebula, didn?t work at all.Could be the place where I took this?I downloaded most of these from Psykotic site.

Weird indeed! I had trouble when I moved NGC 3132 Eight Burst Nebula from its default directory, so you are not alone with that object. However, I have had no trouble getting M27 Dumbell , M57 Ring and NGC 2237 Rosetta to display when I have moved their sub-directories all under the same ..\celestia\extras\deepspace\ directory. All I can suggest is that you double check the names of these objects in their dsc files to make sure that the DeepSpaceTour script is using the exact same names to call them. You may need to change the names of the objects in the DeepSpaceTour script to match the object names in your dsc files.
I plan to release a much smarter version of the DeepSpaceTour script when I have finished preparing an add-on of all 110 Messier Objects displayed on billboard models. In the new version of the script I hope to be able to interrogate the Celestia configuration to find out what add-ons have been loaded, and then allow the user interactively to select which objects to tour. It is easy to do with planets and moons - see my SolarSystemTour script - but not so easy with nebula objects. Until this script comes out, I can only encourage you to double-check the object names in the dsc files. Sorry not to be of more help!
