Mathilde texture.Where?

I think that some kind of texture of Mathilde texture could be done with these photos in this link :
http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/target/Other?start=110
At least,a very low resolution.Or am I wrong?Again,I don?t know how to transform a image in a map.Anyway,it?s just a suggestion
And of Dactyl,too.Look :

Iam proposing this because I am tired of the same Asteroid textures and of totally fake textures.Of course, maybe this cannot be possible...

A Mathilde photomosaic texture already exists. Here's a lo-res version: http://publish.uwo.ca/~pjstooke/mathild3.jpg. Mathilde rotates so slowly that very little of its surface was imaged in daylight, no complete shape model exists, and we have little idea of its axis of rotation.

Last summer back when I was doing all the other small body models i'd started to do one of Mathilde also- but gave up for pretty much the reasons that Grant outlined.
