I have had this file (earth-UNECE.ssc) installed in Celestia\Extras\Addons for quite a while now and it has worked beautifully on my desktop. Today I tried installing it on my laptop. I first downloaded Celestia 1.3.1pre11, then copied the extras folder from my desktop Celestia 1.3.1pre11 to my laptop. If I do Navigation\Select Object, say Paris, then Goto Paris. On my desktop, if I then Zoom-in on Paris, the city Paris then appears from among all the other neighboring cities in the region. This does not happen on the laptop. If I do Navigation\Select Object and choose Paris, then Goto Paris and Zoom-in on Paris, no place-name appears. I tried substituting my 19" desktop screen for the laptop screen with the same result. Is this to be expected from a laptop?

On the Laptop, did you press (Shift-7) to turn on Labels :?:

No I had not. Thanks for the tip. I'll be going over the Celestia Users Guide to find this one.
