32k Blue Marble VT Earth Texture available anywhere?

I've read a few posts about it but apparently the site is down. I did download the 21600 TIF Blue Marble file but 1)I didn't think the detail was all that good, and 2) I don't have a clue on how to make it into a VT texture. I only learned about their existence yesterday. Yeah, I used ER Viewer to look at it. I also got the latest Celestia 1.3.1 beta. Runs great on my system as always (compliment to Celestia, not my PC hehe).

BTW that 16k VT moon texture from praesepe is just freakin' amazing, and that VT stuff works absolutely dy-no-mite on my aging P3 system :)

So are there any better detailed Earth textures, or VT textures with more detail, available for download or am I doomed to wishing it were so? TIA

Thanks for the info jim! The Earth texture looks awesome! Mario even added an extra level to Florida!
