Celestia quits immediately on OS X

I have a 733 MHz PPC G4 running OS X
When starting Celestia is quits immediately, adding this line to the console log:
Error opening config file.Error reading configuration file.2003-11-27 16:56:27.982 Celestia[1442] Could not initSimulation!

I first saw this behavior in OS X 10.2 (Celestia used to work fine on the same machine under 10.1) but it also occurs in 10.3.1

Never mind, i found an earlier reference tot his problem and the solution (moving the CelestiaResources folder to ~/Library/Application Support/)

I have the same problem, even I put the file in the right places. I use Mac Os 10.2.8

iMac 17" 1 Gh
768 ram
Gforce mx4

any ideas?

Just to make sure: did you put the folder CelestiaResources and all it's contents (not just a file) in the right place?
It should go into the folder '/Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/' (and not in the folder /Library/Application Support/ or /System/Library).
If the problem still persists even then, I have no solution, sorry.
