Does the dock-icon disappear after the ill-fated attempt to launch the program?

What Mac, how much RAM?

Launch top to see if the celestia process is taking up cycles after user-feedback has stopped.

mac is g4 with 733 mhz processor and 666 ram (ish!)
version 1.2.5 works fine

the dock question you ask: I'm not clear on.. I double click the celestia application, it bounces and stops. looking at force quit shows there to be application open.

Launch top? sorry again I dont follow! ask me about editing and i'd be fine but not computers! I followed the instructions re placing the folder in library etc to the letter. I have downloaded it 3 times from different sites but still it wont work..

Very happy with 10.2.5 though its fantastic :D

cheers for help
