NSEA Protector updated!

Post #1by Tech Sgt. Chen » 11.11.2003, 06:56

Guys,
Forgive me, I'm not bragging, just excited!
I just upgraded my engineering room by installing a new XFX GeForce FX5200 W/8X AGP, 256MB DDR, DVI TV-out VGA.
I know, I know, it's not the 5900, but it's 75% better than what I had. :D

I'll get the 5900 as soon as a newer card comes out and the price drops.
I've spent too much money on computers and components only to have them outdated in a month or two followed by a drastic price drop.
Celestia really loves it too!!! :D

Post Script: I also installed 2-80mm fans W/LED. Glad this unit has the glass door case!!! I'm tripping on electrical surges right now. I'll be ok in a few hours.
Hi guys. Listen, they're telling me the uh,
generators won't take it, the ship is breaking apart and all that. Just, FYI.
(Athlon X2 6000+ Dual Core 3Ghz, 8GB DDR2-800, 500GB SATA 7200RPM HD, 580W,
GeForce 9600GT-512, 64Bit, Vista Home Premium)

NICE upgrade! :D

You got my measly 128 MB card beat. But Fridger still holds the winner, the new 512 MB (I think) Nvidia.

Speaking of Fridger, where's he been, haven't seen him around lately. Sure hope he didn't get sucked into one of those 11 warped extra dimensions he and his team are working on!
