Windows menu freezes display window

I've only noticed it with the 1.3.0 version, but any time I click on any of the menu items except "locations" and "help", my display field will freeze. The program and its menus will still respond, but the 3d window will cease to respond to any mouse or keyboard control. I can "unsitck" it if I hit alt-enter and switch in and out of fullscreen mode, though.

Celestia 1.3.0
Windows 2000
MSI nVidia GeForce4 TI 4400, detonator driver 45.23
AMD processor, Asus nForce2 motherboard

I don't think that's the prblem Arc. You may not have included enough overall info for a proper diagnosis. You might get more replies if you include more info about your CPU, available RAM (system and graphics, etc). The more info you can include, the better the chance that someone might be able to help. Have you checked to see if this problem has already been addressed in the Forum? I have to admit, it's a big place. Do you have any other programs eating system resources (Virus Scan, etc.) Additionally, I believe it was seldon or Grant who suggested turning off Galaxy rendering which led to a successful fix for others with sticky screens.

Good Luck!:|
Hi guys. Listen, they're telling me the uh,
generators won't take it, the ship is breaking apart and all that. Just, FYI.

Ooo hey, a reply. :)
I did give the bug forum a pretty through run down, but didn't find a similar problem.

But, the point is moot now since the problem has gone away.
The issue turned out to be with the 45.23 driver set (which was causing more 3d problems than just with Celestia, I might add).

Updated to the 52.16 set, runs smooth as glass now. For which I'm glad, I really dig this little thing. Used it to help track the lunar eclipse when I was stuck inside work.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help, the gesture is appreciated.
