Please Help With Earth Display

WOW...What a cool program... BUT -

The earth is only displaying half. The other half is all streaks. These are my settings:

This seems to be a graphics driver issue. Please post your hardware configuration (perhaps do you have an ATI card?), Operating System, graphics driver version, an OpenGL info (extractable from the Celestia Help menu).

Thank you for your response, but I've found the problem. The 4k cloud map was rendering wrong. I got the 2k one, and all is fine. Must have been too much for the drivers.

Ahh!, this very same thing has happend before.

Don Edwars's 4k cloud maps seem to work for some and not for others.
I didn't have any problems using them, here.

maybe you could post up what sort of hardwar you are useing
as it could help Don understand why ?
