Something funy happened to me yesterday(well, it was today at mornging ). I was searching for the M44 cluster, but i couldn't find it. So i point the quickfinder to the heads of the twins in the gemini constelation, and i started to go down. the i decided to stop searching with the quickfinder, and scan the area with the eyepice. I looked at the eyepice and... gess what was centered on the view? the cluster! I found it by mistake! I was not sure it was it, cause i have no computer there to comprove, so i made a draw with some of the stars and then today i check in starry night, and it was it. very very beautifull, like all the open clusters. i also saw the wan near the feet of one of the twins, near saturn.
i have a question now: can i, with a 3" reflector, see the crab nebula and the rosseta nebula???
