my name is Peter and I am living in Germany. I am a hobby astronom since more than 20 years. Since a long time I work with computer aided sky charts - i think I bought my first program in 1993. Quite a long time I used ECU from the first version on.
Since about half a year I discovered Celestia. Since that time I am only lurking in this forum. Now it is time for me to say "Thank You!" to everybodey who is engaged in this wonderful project.
For me it is the most interesting project and program at this time and I am collectiong every texture, addon or something else around celestia. I think I have around 4 Gigs of files connected with this program.
The introduction of the virtual texture is the big jump in the last developments. Maybe I will find some time to add something from my part.
