Rotating around Planets

Post #1by dapsycho » 13.05.2002, 11:53

I am trying to capture a full rotation of earth that repeats itself perfectly. The problem when capturing a movie is that the clouds move and capturing one rotation does not work as the coulds skip.

The demo does feature a rotation with the time stopped and the clouds static but I cannot repeat the rotation manualy.

Anyone know how to rotate around the planet without the time progressing and without the using the mouse as it also moves up and down not just sideways.

I'd suggest modifying the solarsys.ssc file in the data directory . . . Set the CloudSpeed for the Earth to 0 and it will keep the clouds from moving.
