Out of service for while!

Post #1by Don. Edwards » 10.07.2003, 06:20

Hey everyone,
I will not be making any posts for a while. I have been having conectivity problems with my cable modem through Comcast ever since they took over AT&T cable. I have decided to discontinue using them over the these issues and there unfair price increase. So you won't be seeing me around much if any for a while. I will hopefully be up on DSL within a month. So bare with me. 8O

Well 25 hours after it went down my cable moden sprang back to life. So I will be holding off any transition to another service for a while. I still have no good answer for the reason for the outage or what was going on. All I know is that when my conection gets shut down for lack of payment  it always happens between 2:30 and 3:30 AM. Thats what I thought happened, but being payed up I couldn't figure out what was going on. It seems Comcast has the same problem. I don't think they know what there left hand is doing half the time. I am still going to demamd they tell me what was going on. So I will be going about things as usual.

Don.

P.S.
Chris if you want to move this to the Purgatory thread go ahead. This is off topic I just wanted to give everyone a heads up if I did disapear for a while. Not that anyone would notice.

I won't be here for a month. I was not here a week ago 'cause I had a problem on my HD, but now I'm traveling to Argentina, so I won't be here. May be I will check the forum from a friend's computer, but not sure.
I'll miss you all.
See you!

It will depend if the moon is out or not. You will be be above the cloud deck. So you should be able to see the stars as long as you have a windows seat. Now just don't go and try and take a peek out the door. I don't think anyone on the plane would like that much.

The full moon is not too interesting, really...

The first time I flew to South America from Germany, I noticed an amazing phenomenon related to the moon which was only a few days old: While staring out of the plane's window for a long time during the night, I noticed the young moon's orientation to slowly rotate when we approached the equator. Towards the morning, when we were closing in on Rio, there was finally a marvelous sight which I shall never forget: The young moon had turned on his back looking like a Venezian gondola floating on the sea!

fridger: don said that i will be able to se stars if there is no moon, so i said that it will be full moon, and thats a shame cause i won't see many stars. i know that the full moon is not very interesing.
