Textures disappear when i am trying to run my own script

I created a new script of my own by copying the Start.cel script and changed merely "Sol/Jupiter/Io" to "Sol/Earth", then I started Celestia as usual. The program still starts at Io as usual, but once I run my own script, it travels to Earth but all the texture on Earth is missing.

What could cause the problem? I am using XP and my video card is a Geforce 2 GTS.

I really need to get this script feature to work because I'll have a presentation soon.

I can assure you, it is not a problem of Celestia. Here is a possible (incorrect) scenario that would give your behaviour:

Suppose you have put a hires earth.dds file into the hires folder and changed the entry in solarsys.ssc accordingly. You have forgotten, however, to enter an earth.dds also into the medres folder. When executing your script (in the default medres mode), the program is looking for an earth.dds file there, does not find one and produces the familiar "white ball".
