Killeen,

A minor problem:

Windows insists on believing that a file that has the filetype .NFO must be a system file.
It'd be less confusing if you named your information files with the filetype .TXT

No problem, I can change the extension.
I personnaly use the NFO extension since I have a program named Nfodiz.exe that is more powerfull than the standard .TXT editors of Windows (and that never crashed!)

I become richer with your advices...

Selden,
You can view NFO files through MS Word. Just open word and open hit the folder option to open an already created document, find the nfo and select it. Word then asks you which language, select which one (you'll see when you get there) and viola NFO files ready to be enjoyed :)

Phule, (are you really sure you want to use that handle?)

That's why I wrote that it's a minor problem.
There are lots of ways to look at the file, but using a .TXT flietype makes things easier for the user.

I think there is a regulation of hotlinking, so copy & paste the URL.

Selden,

Yes, I like the handle. It is from a Robert Aspirin book series.
it is the phonetic spelling of fool, but you probably already knew that. As for the run around for the NFO files, it takes an extra 10 seconds.. whopty doo, 10 seconds.. or you could actually get a freeware NFO reader from cnet.

Cheers!

NFO files are now changed for TXT files in the zipfiles.
Good for the newbies, but i'm not sure it's worth downloading if you already installed it.
