Gurren Lagann wrote:2021 PB130 is your typical asteroid in the Eulalia family. Not much is known about it, its dark and generic, and also small. And its in the main asteroid belt too.
So why i'm making this? Because despite what the MPC thinks, i actually discovered this asteroid during an IASC search campaign. It holds a special place to me. This is why i did it.

Wait, did you discover that asteroid?

Hmm,
I can't find anything about the discoverer of 2021 PB130 on Google ...

It just gives me these results:
NoResults2.png
NoResults1.png

Even Wikipedia seems not to have a page about 2021 PB130.
Wikipedia.png

The MinorPlanetCenter (MPC) Database search tool shows the telescope/observatory names only, so I don't know which astronomer "found" the asteroid.

Result: I can't find anything about the discoverer of 2021 PB130

2015 TB145
The Space Skull of Halloween (2015)
Untitled.jpg
Rough reconstruction of the "Skull Asteroid", 2015 TB145

2015 TB145 is an Apollo-group near-Earth asteroid about 600 m in diameter. It is nicknamed the "Skull Asteroid" due to its skull-like appearance in radio frequency images taken by the Arecibo Observatory during its 2015 flyby, which also coincidentally occurred on that year's Halloween Day.

(529668) 2010 JL33
A Remnant of Lexell's Comet Found at Last?
Untitled.jpg
(529668) 2010 JL33 is a large Apollo-group near-Earth asteroid about 1.78 km in diameter. A research paper in 2018 identified this asteroid to be a remnant of the long-lost Lexell's Comet with 99.2% probability! However, due to a number of close approaches with Jupiter and certain non-gravitational parameters, a definite link cannot be made

2023 CX1
A Valentine's Fireworks Show over France
cover_image.jpg
2023 CX1 shortly before impact over France, 2023-Feb-13

2023 CX1 is a small meteoroid about 1 m in diameter. It is the seventh asteroid ever discovered before impacting with Earth, and it did so on the early morning of 2023-Feb-13 over the coast of Normandy, France just seven hours after it was first spotted

This was extracted from the 2022 NEOs addon by Anthony_B_Russo10. Added fireball effects upon atmospheric entry, which was derived from the code used in the 1908 Tunguska meteor addon

There are currently 620000 asteroids having received a number and/or a name (asteroids numbered)
The remaining asteroids are called 'unnumbered asteroids'.

I started to make extractions from the base of the JPL (Small-Body Database Query).
The 'unnumbered asteroids' will be numbered one day and will have to be modified in your files to write this number and this name.

Faced with the enormity of the work and the resulting files, I don't know if we'll get to the end of it.

First off, here it is:
- the 3000 first 'numbered'
- the 'unnumbered' until 1999 (all)

Models and textures use those published by Celestia Origin
In case of absence of the albedo value, I use 0.15 by default.
In case of absence of the diameter, I use the formula of the site:
http://www.physics.sfasu.edu/astro/asteroids/sizemagnitude.html
which makes the calculation in fontion of absmag (H)
