How to fix issue with drop down menus

Ever since I installed Celestia there has been a bug where all the text on the drop down tab is question marks. I've been trying to fix it for 2 months and I am yet to fix it. Any solutions?

a few things would help

what exactly did you install ?
1.61 or 1.62 or from github?
also what Operating system is this ?
linux? apple ? windows ?
