TOI-836
Two hot planets orbiting a small orange star, with a possible third

toi_836.png
Both worlds of the small orange dwarf

TOI-836 is an orange dwarf star located about 90 light-years away from the solar system. Two hot planets: a mini-Neptune (2.587 Earth Radii) and a super-Earth (1.704 Earth Radii). They were confirmed to be orbiting the star in 2022, Their masses have been observed (4.53 Earth Masses for TOI-836 b, 9.60 Earth Masses for TOI-836 c) and During observations of the system, TTVs (Transit Timing Variations) were observed during transits of TOI-836 c, but none on TOI-836 b. Leading to the possibility that there is a non-transiting third planet within the system.

TOI-836 b's clouds are separate from its surface

TOI-2257
A target for the atmospheric study of temperate Neptune-like worlds

The eccentric world of TOI-2257

TOI-2257 is a red dwarf located about 185.9 light-years (57.79 PC) away from the solar system, the star hosts a mini-Neptune about 2.19 times larger than Earth, There are no mass measurements of this planet. The planet has a very high orbital eccentricity, which swings the planet in and out of its star's habitable zone, the study that confirmed this planet's existence believes it to be a good target for more in-depth study of these types of planets, despite the planet's temperature, the size of the star, and relative infrared brightness.

This post contains an additional addon for a fictional Earth-like moon, cause I wanted to have one.

TOI-1937
1 of 20 planets confirmed in the second TESS Grand Unified Hot Jupiter Survey

toi_1937_A_b.png
The eviscerated world of TOI-1937 A b

TOI-1937 is a binary system composed of a G-type star and a red dwarf located about 1354 light-years away from the solar system. The primary component of the system hosts a single hot Jupiter that completes an orbit every 22 hours, the planet is both larger than Jupiter (1.2 Jupiter Radii) and more massive (2.01 Jupiter Masses).

TOI-2364 is a K-type star about 716.28 light-years away from the solar system, the star has a hot Saturn-like planet that completes an orbit every 4 days. The planet is smaller than Saturn at 8.61 Earth Radii and less massive at 71.5 Earth Masses. This is one of many planets confirmed in the second TESS Grand Unified Hot Jupiter Survey

(NOTE: If I do the entire survey I will probably just have one post for the rest of the planets, rather than flooding the thread)

Hot Jupiters
with known color data

Attempt at a realistic rendering of several hot Jupiters with known color data. All planets are rendered with a Jupiter-like atmosphere. The textures are derived from ones created by Chara (EarthSolar) & Steve Bowers, with colors based on spectra calculated by Zelario (fyr02) & Askaniy with TrueColorTools. For five of these planets, I've also attempted to render their tidally distorted shapes based on data from Correia 2014.

Planets included: Tau Boötis b, Upsilon Andromedae b, CoRoT-1 b, CoRoT-2 b, CoRoT-3 b, HAT-P-7 b, Kepler-13 b, TrES-3 b, KELT-9 b, WASP-3 b, WASP-12 b, WASP-18 b, WASP-19 b, WASP-33 b, WASP-43 b, WASP-46 b. As far as I know, this is the first released addon anywhere with a texture for WASP-3 b.

HD 189733 b & HD 209458 b are included in separate addons, which I've recently updated. I recommend trappistplanets' addons for 51 Pegasi b & TrES-2 b, which look pretty much the same as they would if they were included here, and Gurren's addon for the two outer planets of Upsilon Andromedae. A similar addon by MrSpace43 is available here.
