Hi everybody, and thanks for Celestia : really beautiful !
Now my questions :
- Is it possible to build in the current version some "special" solar systems, like a dual-sun systems ? (My idea is to create something like a Starwars universe... ) If it's not possible, is it possible to include this feature ?
- Another idea for a feature : Is it possible to build scripts to make defined travels like the demo ? (with a "travel recording" which will save all actions and build the corresponding script, script we can edit to change timeout, etc..... ?) Will be useful to record some videos
Thanks

You can create a text file and copy/paste from the file solarsys.ssc in the 'data' directory. Modify the values in your new file to create what you want. (Experimentation is key here!) Name the new file whatever.ssc. Put it in the 'extras' directory. It needs to be a text only file, rtf on Mac OS X doesn't work.
I've added moons and asteroids orbiting Earth, and a new planet that will ultimately crash into Mercury unless I modify its orbit.

Check the file demo.cel. Should be able to modify this file. As for selecting different files to execute, well... Hmmm... Not sure.
As for recording, that'd be a great feature!

thanks for this, i will have a look to the demo.cel...
but, about my first question :
Imagine my idea, Starwars fan will not have a problem :
I want to build a planet like "Tatooine" and watch the Two suns rise the planet. how to build something like this ? Can create planet when creating a .ssc file in the extra dir, but how to create stars, and (like I see in another thead) make a star orbiting around another one ?
thanks
