Kepler-70
Worlds hotter than the Sun

Kepler-70 is a star located about 4,200 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. In December 2011, evidence of two planets around the star was announced. However later studies refuted the existence of these planets. But assuming they did exist, they would orbit extremely close to their parent star and could have higher surface temperatures than the Sun.

................................................................................................

My vision is of planets practically "white" on the illuminated side due to the absurd heat of the magma, and reflecting an enormous amount of light from their star. Kepler-70c has dense yellowish reflective clouds. They are planets covered entirely by global oceans of magma at thousands of Kelvin. That's hot enough, isn't it?

The textures are from procedural planets from Space Engine 0.990, taken and posted in the "Planetary and Stellar Textures" topic by SpaceStalker. They were modified by me especially in terms of color.

Kepler-61
A Mini-Neptune that is Formerly Considered Habitable
Untitled.jpg
Kepler-61 b is definitely NOT a habitable super-Earth since 2021

Kepler-61, also known as KOI-1361, is a K-type main sequence star about 1,103 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. In 2013, a planet 2.15 times larger than Earth was discovered orbiting the star's habitable zone. However, subsequent analyses indicate that this planet has a very eccentric orbit that takes it outside the stellar HZ. These characteristics, in addition to now theoretically believed to be closer in composition to a warm neptunian rather a superterran, has led to its removal from the Habitable Exoplanets Catalog in 2021
