Magellan model

I downloaded the magellan model and the ssc. The problem is that
the model does not appear over the planet. I am not sure if I installed it correctly. After I place the.3ds in the proper file but
the directions do not mention where to place the .bmp image.
Also the directions say to change the ssc file but know exactly how. If anyone can help let me know. I downloaded these from Jack Higgins site.

Hi,

Make sure that you are on the right date, remember that Magellan ended its mission on 14 Oct 1994, when it descended into Venus' atmosphere. The bmp image should be placed on textures\medres directory on your extras directory or whatever you have the addon installed into.

I was on the correct date. Maybe because I left out the bmp
image. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks.
