How to install an add on, for version mac Celestia
thank you for your answers...
add on for mac OS X
Franck,
Installing add-ons for the Mac OS X version of Celestia is no different from the procedure for other versions of Celestia, except that the add-on files are placed in the "extras" folder in the "CelestiaResources" folder in the "Application Support" folder in the "Library" folder in your home folder ('~/Library/Application Support/CelestiaResources/extras').
For basic information about Celestia add-ons, you should consult Selden's introductory tutorial:

it's invisible..
Franck,
I think your problem is that you think it is in the Celestia folder.. it's not.. afaik, it is in the Celestia APPLICATION itself.
Go to the folder you have installed Celestia. (/Applications/Celestia usually).
control-click on the application file
choose "Show package contents"
go to resources... a couple of clicks further you'll see the extras folder.
I'm using the 1.2.5 version, maybe there's a 1.3 for Mac already??
