SpaceExplorer's Fictional Solar System Objects
Hi!
Here I begin my creations of totally fictional objects randomly thought by me within our Solar System. It will include fictional planets, moons, comets, asteroids and maybe even a star.
Here: http://frederickhiggins.com/celestia/terrestrials.htm These are the textures that I will use (at the moment). They are edited by me to vary and improve them. I change colors, contrasts, saturation, etc.
I can also update these addons as time goes by
Hope you like my little creations!
FIRST ADDON:
Infare, a super hot planet less than 0.05 AU away from the Sun. It is in a polar orbit with an inclination of 90°. It is 8000 km in diameter, larger than Mars but smaller than Earth. It does not even have an atmosphere due to its very close distance from the Sun.

NEW ADDON
Salne is my first fictional moon of Saturn. It revolves around the planet between the orbits of Dione and Rhea. Salne is 1000 km in diameter.
You can follow two Cassini flybys over Salne:
1) October 11, 2005: 9,967 km away
2) September 30, 2015: 5,776 km away

did you modify cassini's trajectory file or did Salne happen to be in the right place at the right time for both close flybys to happen with a unmodified cassini trajectory file?SpaceExplorer wrote:You can follow two Cassini flybys over Salne:

idea for future, give iapetus a small submoon, there is evidence for one that once existed (equator ridge) than it got unstable and fell apart forming the equator ridge we see.
