Preliminary release of Red Supergiant catalog
Note: This is not the full version of the RSG catalog, and only includes the (mostly) finished files.
This is a Red Supergiant catalog I made for Celestia (derived from simbad and a little from wikipedia), it contains more than 1000 RSGs and some candidate RSGs. Currently there are a lot of files and it's quite a mess, I hope you'll enjoy nonetheless. I'm still working on the catalog and the full release will have RSG binaries, and a lot more missing RSGs not classified as RSGs in Simbad.
Just keep in mind these files may be subject to change in the future.

I explain : I use the excellent catalog of Gaia made by ajtribick and I took for example the star HD 9548.

jujuapapa, the catalog includes all red supergiants (not all because it's not finished yet, but that's the idea). Not all red supergiants are in the HIP and TYC catalogs - for example, Stephenson 2-18. The catalog also specifies radii for the stars, so HIP/TYC red supergiants are updated with more accurate radii.

Now Stephenson 2-18's distance was recalculated to be just over 5.8 kpc, so the value's modified to 18,917.8006 light years from Sol, putting it a bit closer to us than we earlier calculated, and its spectral type turns out to be an M6I instead of M7I.
Though that hasn't changed our estimate of its radius.
Many state it's just a bit closer to us than the Stephenson 2 cluster is.

I have the addon of the supergiants and found that VV Cephei A and B are not tidally locked and neither are HR 5171 Aa and HR 5171 Ab.
VV Cephei A and B orbit each other in 20.3440348 Earth years which's actually 178335.8090568 Earth hours rather than 178332 Earth hours.
Yet HR 5171 Aa and Ab's orbits of 3.5702 Earth years corresponds to 31311.483242223 Earth hours not 31296 Earth hours.
Plus the tidal bulges of VV Cephei A and B face sideways in this addon when they should be facing each other.
Instead of a semi axes of [ 1 0.99230671131 1 ], it's [ 0.99230671131 1 1 ]
Plus, I had to correct V838 Monocerotis as its a binary star system rather than a single star and even though the orbital parameters are unknown, they values are best-based on the frequency of the variability of V838 Mon A and its eruptions (which create the nebula around it).
Plus it's no longer categorized as an L3 star, but at least an M7 and its radius is now 467 x Sol's.

I had to make an original texture for V838 Mon A since there's no place to find a star texture named after it and the addon didn't come with it despite the file using Texture "v838-mon.*".
And I modified the addon so every file in this addon renders the stars with the RSG.cmod mesh and RSG.png texture though the C-class stars are using the red-supergiant.png texture while all the K and G-class stars are using the yellow-hypergiant.png texture, and the distance of Alf Ori (also known as Betelgeuse) was fixed to 547.96 light years (its best-measured approximate distance from Sol) rather than 497.96 light years.
And the Wikipedia sizes folder needed some modifications based on the latest as well as most reliable measurements (including Betelgeuse who's radius is 531514800 km or 764 x Sol's which's rounded to 696000 km on Celestia as opposed to 695700 km since 531744000 km is 764 x the 696000 km value for Sol's radius.
Yet the 325032000 km radius for V838 Mon A was based on the rounded 696000 km Solar radius x 467 and each star in this addon bases its radius on the number x 696000 km "solar" radius factor (whereas 695700 km x 467 is actually 324891900 km).

...why magenta? Maybe the Unity engine's ruined the color for me, but all I can think of when I see this is broken shaders. The star isn't pure #00FFFF cyan either, but at least that would be a bit less insane.

I added more stars on the Wikipedia file in this addon to fix their radii to current estimates based on best sources.
NR Vulpeculae's currently estimated to be 553 x Sol's radius.
RS Persei's currently estimated to be 491 x Sol's radius.
V354 Cephei's currently estimated to be 685 x Sol's radius.
Betelgeuse's currently estimated to be 764 x Sol's radius.
119 Tauri's currently estimated to be 587 x Sol's radius.
AS Cephei's currently estimated to be 1,026 x Sol's radius.
SU Cephei's currently estimated to be 1,048 x Sol's radius.
IM Cassiopeiae's currently estimated to be 1,068 x Sol's radius.
V366 Andromedae's currently estimated to be 1,076 x Sol's radius.
ST Cephei's currently estimated to be 1,109 x Sol's radius.
HD 62745's currently estimated to be 1,145 x Sol's radius.
Though RX Telescopii's radius on the file would mean it's larger than Stephenson 2-18, which's another star with an unreliable estimate based on the source for the data and we know RX Telescopii's ridiculous measurements were based on GAIA DR2's 0.1699 +/- 0.0790 mas angular diameter suggesting a nearly 6 kpc distance from Sol.
Yet a more rigorous calculation suggested it's 4.726 +2.371 -1.315 kpc and 1,897 x Sol's radius (based on an angular diameter of 3.374 mas) whereas GAIA ER3 suggested it to be 2 kpc and roughly 817 x Sol's radius (based on an angular diameter of 0.4914 +/- 0.0810 mas), in which all the measurements by GAIA's data for it are unreliable due to the astrometric noise being around 10 x the maximum limit for reliable observations.
Therefore all we know is RX Telescopii's distance and radius are currently unknown and hopefully we get much more reliable measurements of it from better instruments in the forseeable future.
