I was getting the same problem myself...I updated to the new version and it no longer did that...But I did get it again when I was on the outer edges of the star cluster defined in the program..when I selected the star browser, selected a star then hit go...crash...of course I had been running my machine for a long time and was using Adobe Photoshop previously...
Windows is nortorious for swallowing up memory and not releasing the blocks properly.
Get the update..that should fix your problem...
