My (temporary) return

Hello, all! I have temporarily returned after a very long break. When I logged on for the first time in months, I had a grand total of 29 unread notifications! :eek:

But with that aside, I can no longer keep up with the Celestia community, and a while ago I silently left the Celestia Discord server. Now, I'll probably take another break, this time for good. I gradually lost interest and now it's reached a point where I need to retire from here as a whole. If in the forseeable future I regain my interest, I'll pick up right where I left off, but the chances of that seem to be slim. As for my addons, feel free to redistribute them and modify them, but for the latter, please give me credit. This will be my final message for a while.

SpaceFanatic64, please stay! The Celestia community has been a victim of the law of triviality a lot recently (thanks to LukeCEL for linking me to that article on Discord), but hopefully we can do better. You should at least rejoin the Discord, even if you aren't going to post there.

I tried to read the article, but I could not understand what it said at all. Can someone explain it to me in simple terms?

Not really that important, but:

This has been happening a lot recently, mostly on Discord but here as well. I'm saying that I hope we can improve and not spend so much time on trivial issues. I guess that's not your reason for leaving though, you just lost interest...
