It is fictional. And yes, I am aware of the Faint Young Sun paradox.

I have some ideas for more hypothetical bodies.

Vulcan (Small planet orbiting closer than Mercury)

Hephaestus (Small planet orbiting closer than Vulcan)

Neith (Moon of Venus)

Petit and Walemath's moons.

Feel free to make an addon...
Still formally developer, but too tired to develop. I feel sad, but Celestia is going forward despite it.
Btw, the universe is ruled by electricity.

Ginum is still re-familiarizing with Celestia addon making...
"The tomorrow we're trying to reach is not a tomorrow you had decided on!"
- Simon the Digger
"Nothing is impossible for me, as long I'm determinated to keep moving forward!"
"If other people aren't going to do it, I'm going to do it myself!"
- Me (Gurren)

Current major projects:
- Aur Cir
- Cel+
- Project Sisyphus
- Populating the Local Group
- An galaxy generator

Ginum,

Vulcan and Neith already exist as addons on the Motherlode: http://celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/show_addon_details.php?addon_id=854
The addon itself is attached below.

The one issue I have with that is that Planet X is a white sphere, and that Neith's orbit is not on the Equator of Venus. What we should do here, in my eyes is create an updated version of this addon with other Hypothetical bodies, all included. Keep in mind Planet 9's hill sphere is absolutely massive, so you can have moons up to around 1 AU around it, it could have the most moons of any planet.

Planet X can be fixed with the texture attached below. If you want to create an updated version you can, but I made Planet 9 to be smaller then Neptune and the moons are fictional but grouped like the gaseous planets moons since no part of the theory of Planet 9 mentions moons.

Ginum, you can follow my tutorial https://celestia.space/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19707 here for how to create gas giant textures.

I want to learn how to do addons in the first place, so I can create and add on to the addon already made and make it better.

Then you can add to my addon, just keep it in this thread.

Wait, PlutonianEmpire, is it really you?? Nice to see you again after all this time! :hi: I still love your Delta Trianguli addon to this day, even if it's old. It was one of the first addons I ever installed for Celestia, so it is very special to me.
If you see that I made a dumb or nonsensical post years ago, please forgive me in advance.

Where's the source for Hephaestus?

I've never heard about Hephaestus either.

Honestly, we need a reliable source for that planet. Unless we want to be purely fictional, if we can't find a source then I'm opposed to having that planet in an addon about hypothetical, theorized solar system bodies.

Guys, Hephaestus is a fictional moon-sized vulcanoid in a 3:2 or 1:2 resonance with Vulcan that I and Ginum made up!

Okay, now that this discussion is over, we can finally move on.
