fyr02's Fictional System
fyr02's NDPC Universe
(Formerly called "fyr02's fictional system")
Hi, this is fyr02, this is where I'll be posting add-ons and updates related to my fictional universe (now called NDPC). So far there are four planetary systems, each orbiting a main-sequence star, with all four stars being in a multiple star system. If you scroll down to the later posts you can view the development of the NDPC Universe.
Official NDPC Website: http://bit.ly/fyr02-ndpc
Download Instructions
To download my fictional systems - you must first download the core package - the add-on that defines all of the orbits of the parent stars - since this cannot be done separately by each add-on. It is important that you DO NOT re-name the add-on folder from "DPC", as the folder must be alphabetically above K for this to work. After you have downloaded the core package, you are then free to download any of the planetary system add-ons.
IMPORTANT NOTE! If you downloaded and installed the Kessea add-on before December 8th, 2019, you will need to uninstall the Kessea add-on, download the NDPC Core Package, and re-install it, as the old version of the Kessea add-on is NOT compatible with the NDPC core package.

IMPORTANT NOTE! These add-ons are still in development. As such some of the planetary systems might still be in development and are not available for download.

Added after 8 hours 20 minutes:
Added Keseren.
Keseren/Yuuzoth IV, Yuuzoth's outermost moon. d=1,974km
Added after 1 hour 30 minutes:
Added Argolea.
Argolea/Kessea e, habitable world and fourth planet of Kessea. d=12,812km, photosynthesis on Argolea is performed using red pigments

Hi,
Nice look !
Where is this sytem ?
If the star has spectral type equal to K2V (less bright than our sun) and the inhabited planet in fourth position, the planets are closer, right ?
What are the distances from the star for each planet ?

jujuapapa,
Here are all of the orbital info for the Kessea System. Moon inclinations are missing but that's the only thing that's not on there.

After testing the given data, I found :
1. for the star
=> too small, not enough light !
2. for the inhabited planet
=> too cold !
Conclusion : it's NOT possible, just try to be coherent even for a fictional system !
@fyr02 => try to update the AppMag (example 12.0) and shorter distance for Argolea (0,46)

Sorry about that. Those values are generated by Celestia and sometimes those values can by horribly off. I'll try to fix that as soon as possible
Added after 17 minutes 1 second:
EDIT: The correct Radius should be 0.9212 x Sun, or 640703.812 km. The temperature on Argolea should now be a more liveable 238 K.
I've always imagined Argolea to have thicker atmosphere than Earth.
The reason why this happened is that I roughly based Kessea off of HD 40307 and didn't realize HD 40307 was a main-sequence star and not a
K-dwarf.
If you input this it should be fixed

FYI and all other young people because you wrote a little mistake.
The twice stars Kessea (K2V) and HD 40307 (K2.5V) are together K-dwarf on main-sequence stars.
Only their spectral type are lightly different.
To do simply :
To affinate the temperature we add numeric subdivisions 0 to 9.
to distinguish their life, we add a latin number to see their evolution.
Example : Sun is G2V star.

I know that, the base for Kessea was ROUGHLY HD 40307. I mainly used it because it had a habitable planet that could be used as a guidepost for Argolea.
What I meant by main-sequence star was a K star on the main sequence, instead of a object of class sdK2 or K2IV (example: K2-3)

Neophus/Kostranus II, d=4235 km

Daycnea/Kostranus III, d=3936 km
Added Nederra.
Nederra/Kostranus IV, d=2521 km, icy surface + 8K texture
