The orbit of the hypothetical Planet 9 has been updated according to the most recent scientific publication. Also updated orbits of the TNO, related with hypothesis.

I am a first time Celestia Origin user. I have downloaded and installed it. But upon opening it, I see the Planet Earth but many Alphabet like characters all across the screen. I don't know how to upload the image. But I think you have understood. Please guide me what to do.

The many character across you screen are caused by Celestia being in OpenGL 2.0 mode rather than OpenGL Vertex Program render mode while displaying the realistic Milky Way addon.

If you have a minitower computer, get a graphics card and the coorisponding graphics card driver. A laptop is going to be stuck a The current graphics level due to its chipset.

Hi UVJ and welcome to the forum,
I had a similar(?) problem with my lowly video/OpenGL and found that if I deleted
"Realistic_Milky_Way.ssc" from
extras> Lua Edu Tools> adds> Realistic_Milky_Way>
the problem was removed.

in my first post there is a picture of what happened to me, if yours looks the same then the rest of the posts and the advice I received from forum chums :) may help .
