Happy New Year everyone! Since we're currently unable to upload anything to the Celestia Motherlode right now, I'd like to publish some updates to my add-ons here.
Pluto/Charon Locations Version 2.0 fixes the meridian of the texture, and includes more locations from the IAU. Official names of locations have been marked with the phrase "approved" in the .ssc file.
Chiron/Chariko Update 1.1 adds an improved color, derived from its
SMASS spectrum. It also changes the orientation of the object using data from
Braga-Ribas et al. (2014).
Hoag's Object Update 1.1 improves parameters from SIMBAD, and includes an improved orientation (using the
deepsky.pl tool).
Cartwheel Galaxy Update 1.1 includes improved orientations using the deepsky.pl tool.
Binary Star Catalog Update 1.1 fixes Hipparcos designations for Alpha Ophiuchi, Nu Geminorum, and adds the Bayer designation (b Draconis) for 39 Draconis.
