What about correcting the sizes of Antares, Betelgeuse, mu Cephei, and VV Cephei A, and adding LBV 1806-20, Pistol Star, and VY Canis Majoris ?

From the idea of adding 10 largest stars, I have not yet refused. The main thing is to have enough time for everything. :nervious:

I feel your pain, since the release date is only about 20 days away.

Ok! Now Enceladus will no longer be the only major Saturnian moon without a 3D model!

Has the meaning to add 3D models for objects less than 3000 kilometers in diameter. Titan is a very large moon. In the next year, we plan to add a high-quality virtual texture.

I agree, that sounds like a better idea than adding a model.

Now that the 3D Asteroid Catalogue has improved models of Janus and Epimetheus (thanks to LukeCEL), if only someone had improved texture maps for the two moons, since the old Voyager maps look terrible.

Quality textures at the moment does not exist. Askaniy improved the current versions as much as possible.

Celestia Origin: ReadMe translation (Rus → Eng)

Post #154by Askaniy » 13.12.2018, 15:34

Greetings! :hi:
The next release of Celestia Origin is coming out on December 30th. It is planned to translate the documentation into English, for obvious reasons.
First of all, it will remove the barrier between forum and important information about the addons collection.
We ask for help in its translation, as well as in checking the text of the English-speaking in order to avoid mistakes :help:

The online document where you can suggest changes is at this link:

December 30 for next Celestia Update? AWESOME!!! You guys are making it better and better!
A few questions though: Will you still be updating Celestia Origin even if Celestia releases version 1.70? And if ever Celestia 1.70 is released, will you use it as the basis for future Celestia Origin releases?
