Does anyone know of updated Pluto textures.

I have seen some nice pictures of Pluto lately.

Does anyone have or know of an updated texture that is celestia compatible, or that can be made to be?

Janus.

I found some semi-fictional textures of Pluto that are based on the photos by New Horizon. Semi-fictional as in the northern hemisphere is real but the southern is not.

Please note I did not make those.

I've been working on a Pluto texture, it is based on the latest map published by NASA: http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/catalog/PIA20658

I've done my best to adjust brightness and color to match reality as close as possible. The texture is aligned for use in Celestia. 48MB png

John, your textures look great! It just seems they are based on some older maps? Feel free to use my texture to improve them ;)

I made a new Pluto texture rom recent data - including some parts only illuminated by scattered light from it's atmosphere. I tried to reflect real color and albedo.

I posted it on DeviantArt:

Yet another update on Pluto now that USGS has released new surface and topography maps. Here are 16k surface and normal virtual textures:

The last picture is a visualisation or the real photo?
