Collecting all Celestia add-on site links?

I found some Celestia add-on sites which are maybe not very well known...

Maybe we should collect them all...

Is there a site which updates exoplanets for Celestia?

http://celestiaaddons. *** wixsite.com/ *** celestiaaddons

The only site hosting Celestia addons (that still works) beside the Motherlode that I know is this one by Jack Higgins:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~jackcelestia/

And I just saw that after a long time someone (beside myself) is uploading something to the Motherlode but it is based on one of my addons which I improved a while ago, but didn't upload because of size issues... I might do a new topic about textures...

FarGetaNik, Jack's site is not updated for many years.

John,

Why would you add a link to this site? Do you want these people who were banned multiple times from the old forum to return here?
I personally would rather that you remove this link before anyone actually clicks on it and alerts them to our return. (Oops, I just realized I did that myself out of curiosity.)

Oh. sorry. I didn't see that, but IMO we shouldn't reference that site as they caused a lot of problems which indirectly caused the shuutdown of shatters. We don't need a repeat of that, although now they have their own site, maybe they'll stay away.

(Perhaps both Johns would edit their posts and remove the link... just a suggestion.)

Chuft-Captain: I made the link unusable, but retained the information...is it an acceptable compromise?

Don't worry about it john71. Just a bit of a knee-jerk reaction on my part at the mention of that/those guy(s) ... (apologies to JVV, who was after all just issuing a warning.)

I don't want to censor you. and I don't think that there's much chance that guy would return here, so do whatever you like regarding the link. (note that it remains in JVV's post in any case.)

If I remember well, bdfd - aka all the others - was banned from Shatter.net because the complains of the administrator of the 3d model site from which he picked up the ST models without permission for then convert them in CMODs...

Yeah copyright violations, if I recall correctly. I know the DMCA (?) cracks down on such much harder these days, even more so now since the olden days of shatters.net.

I also remember that earlier this year CBS put forth much stricter rules about Trek fan fiction, although I don't remember if that includes computer program addons.
