I downloaded both the Config Manager and CMODView - both programs were prevented from running by Microsoft Windows 10 @ "Windows protected your PC
Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." Does anyone know of any "risk" or is this
Microsoft being Microsoft?
Config Manager and CMODView

Download of the ConfigManager (here) failed since my anti-virus states it as "Trojan: W32/Gen4332.fd140ace74!Online"

eafbsd: Windows SmartScreen refuses to install softwares if there is no valid signature. This is annoying also for developers; e.a see http://www.foobar2000.org/fuckmicrosoft
Never at rest.

As I stated, I don't know the exact case for cmodview, but you should be able to install it no matter Wndows warns you. The option is not obvious (I can't recall how it's called) but it is possible. Maybe make sure to be admin while installing. You dont have to change any settings, at least for cmodview.
I might try to reinstall it if necessary?
