Technical forum information

For my websites I have a part of the server with resources. Then a dedicated for me the server part, I will name a "server".

1. Server info:

- Server disk space: 20 Gb (my free 12.2 Gb)
- Allowable load on the server: 6% (my middle: 3-4%)
- Available version of php: 5.2 - 7.0 (my is 5.5)
- Automatic backups: every day
- Storage time of backups: 1 week

My values - it is not only forum values. But is the values of all my websites in total. Launching this forum increased my middle server load by approximately 1.5%. Besides available memory for the files will soon be over.

2. Forum info:

- Maximum signature length: 300
- Maximum lines per signature: 4
- Maximum signature links: 1

- Maximum image dimensions: not limited
- Minimum avatar dimensions: 64x64
- Maximum avatar dimensions:100x100
- Maximum avatar file size: 100 Kb

- Limit post editing time: none
- Limit deleting time: 15 minutes
- Min characters per post/message: 4
- Max characters per post/message: 60 000

- Max file size in post: 100 Mb (available 256 Mb)
- Maximum file size in PM: 10 Mb (available 256 Mb)

These are the main limits that I have set up in the forum. If you have any objections or ideas, then write here.

Added after 48 minutes 8 seconds:
I planning on 1 day of each month to remove all user accounts that do not have a posts.

I am planning at the end of this year to remove all of the accounts, which did not login to the forum in the 2010-2016 years.

Not sure what you mean by this? I thought the forum was dead during this period? ... so no-one would have been able to login anyway.

Chuft-Captain, The forum is the accounts that last visit to the 2002-2010 year. They can be deleted but their messages persist. Everyone who visited a forum before it was closed, I will not be removed.
It will be correct to say this: at the end of this year, I plan to remove user accounts that did not visit a forum after 2010, but their posts will remain.

First of all thanks a lot for the Celestia forum revival, very very appreciated.
I've been requested (correctly) to move my post regarding the
RCW-like fictional nebula actually in the
Development Forum, Celestia 1.7.0 for OS X thread, to the
Addons Forum.
Can you please move the related posts to the Addons, please?
I searched for, but I don't see the possibility to do it myself.

Today i changed hosting tariff:

• - Server disk space: 20 Gb (my free 12.2 Gb)
• - Allowable load on the server: 6% (my middle: 3-4%)

So I increased the maximum file size in post: 100 Mb (update in first post)

Hi Alexell.
A little suggestion: I think it could be useful if you merge the "Announcements" by decreasing date, so to find immediately in the first position(s) the updated ones, if any.
I repeat, just a suggestion.
