Orbit around the object automatically to the left - analogue Shift + Right arrow

No! virutalBox.lua don't use any of theese keys.
They are pure Celestia keys that work even if lua-edu-tool is not active.

In fact, a lua script can handle only "normal" and "control" keys.

The illustration below shows the 1st upgrading Virtual Pad and Compass.
This is a comparison of the graphical interface of Lua Edu Tools v1.2_beta9 and Lua Universal Tools v4.0.

Change the layout, the functionality is stored.
The following rotation virtualBox.lua used:
  • rotateUp - analogue # 2 key on numerical keypad
  • rotateDown - analogue # 8 key on numerical keypad
  • rotateLeft - analogue # 4 key on numerical keypad
  • rotateRight - analogue # 6 key on numerical keypad.

Virtual platform rotation speed can be changed only in config.lua (can be set from 1 to 10).

The illustration below shows the 2st upgrading Virtual Pad and Compass.
The modernized instrument has a new name - Autopilot:

New functionality - red buttons - keyboard commands:

Orbit around the object automatically downward - analogue Shift + Up arrow
Orbit around the object automatically upward - analogue Shift + Down arrow
Orbit around the object automatically to the right - analogue Shift + Left arrow
Orbit around the object automatically to the left - analogue Shift + Right arrow

New control devices: display "Time" and display "Speed"/

First you need to find the right planet (object). If the Planet is in the field of the call, then it is sufficient to poke it with the mouse.
By default, the time for one revolution around the planet (or other object) is 360 seconds (= 6 minutes).
To start the orbital flight, you must press the red button on the pad of the joystick.
Using the [>>>] button, you can change the time (360-300-270-240-210-180-150-120-90-60-30-20-10-5).
With the help of the buttons [<]/ [>] it is possible to -10/+10 seconds.
