Well, i've also noticed that you're from England, and if you read Calculus's early post
I think they have a strange policy for those who try to access web1000 from outside the US. I don't really understand but it has to do with their business model of free hosting.

this could explain your problems, if he is correct.

Mike I wonder if any of this might help ? :-
This is a very strange problem ! I am also in England and way back when you first posted I also (like Darkmiss) could not enter and got thrown back to the web1000 webhost(search) page. I couldnt figure out why and gave up !
However, seeing the recent posts I had another look and guess what, using InternetExplorer (5.5) I still cannot access your site, but with Netscape(4.7) I can, very odd indeed !! I have had a quick look at the html code on your home page and cannot see anything obviously wrong, so I dunno what the prob is :(
The bad news is that when clicking on the download page link I get a message : "We are sorry, but the file you are trying to download is larger than the maximum length permitted under current network conditions. Please try again later when
network conditions change. The file you were trying to download was 262936 bytes. "
1/4M for just a download list seems rather large ??
Other links like Gallery etc are ok.

bh and Darkmiss :- Try Netscape and/or OffByOne browsers, both seem to work on Mike's site. (but why they should work in England beats me ! ) I wonder what browser Calculus is using ?
OffByOne is a really nice neat little browser http://www.OffByOne.com/ ( choose the none SSL version for the smallest download/install)

hth,
Malcolm.

PS I endorse LeachFTP very nice, free, but no longer supported :(

well the error messagte ur getting may just mean that too much bandwidth from web1000 is being used, and 1/4 of a MB isn't really that much for a page, considering i currently have 100 files, not to mention all the other code for hte mouse, counter, nav bar, ect. btu anyway, i'm looking into a new server (hopefully for the last time, btu it probably wont be).

Yes, that is what I thought also. Which is what drew my attention to the file size !

Edit :
Some further ideas edited out of this post and sent via PM for you.
