What's the word on addon creators hosting some of their addons on the "dropbox" service?
Basically, "dropbox" is where one moves or copies their content into a "Dropbox" folder installed on their computer, and then the file is automatically uploaded to their online "dropbox" account and then automatically shared with other computers said "dropbox" user has installed "dropbox" on. It is all private unless the user copies their work into the undeletable "Public" folder within the "dropbox" folder.
Is this a good idea, or are there problems with it, or are there better places to host addons, or would it be best to upload them solely to the Motherlode?

Re: Hosting addons on "Dropbox"?
Personally for me DropBox feels like a very temporary kind of storage which is probably not what you want for an add-on. I do find it useful for sharing development-related material that is too large to go in an email to the developer list, but as a permanent store I'd want a proper website of some kind.
