In collaboration with "Ensign Re-read", a fan of David Weber, several Addons illustrating the Safehold and Honor Harrington series are now available.

Interesting. :)

One cool thing: There is a town here in Minnesota that is named Chisholm. :)

I went there a few years ago for my brother's wedding.

I don't know why, but this globe with the old fashioned map floating in space really has something to it.
Perhaps we should do something like that for the Earth itself too. If there is a free map of good quality and include it in Celestia, just for fun.

You know, that reminds me of an idea I've had floating in my head for quite some time now, where someone could make a "limit of knowledge" map for Earth, with all the "maps of the world" produced by ancient cultures (and/or medeival cultures as well) pieced together like a puzzle, to cover the whole globe, with truly "unknown" areas being painted black (which should preferrably be kept at a minimum), and a crossfade for transitions between different culture's "world" maps.

Didn't someone make a "mars canals" texture for Mars in Celestia at one point?

And yeah, like I said, it'd be a limit of knowledge map for Earth, cosidering or knowledge WAS that limited at one point. ;)

Hi John.
I'm very interested in showing your addon with ancient Mars maps to my students.
Is it available for downloading somewhere?
Thanks a lot, bye.
