I have installed Celestia for Linux Mandriva 2010.1 (RPM package), using the install tool system. After launching it, I can open any menu because they are flashing and I don't now why.
Anybody have an answer please ? Thank you.
PS: I don't know if it is the right place for my question.

Re: Celestia for Linux Mandriva
Celestia version : 1.6.0
3D card ATI Mobile HD4500 Serie with 512 Mo RAM
Desktop = KDE
I have updated the system to 2010.2 with the same result.
If I move the mouse under the menu bar, these flicker as if the mouse was on the menu bar !!!
PS: Stellarium runs perfectly, as well as all others programs

Re: Celestia for Linux Mandriva
Problem solved ! I have actived the 3D effect and now Celestia runs correctly. Thank you.
Re: Celestia for Linux Mandriva [SOLVED]
Unfortunately, I don't know what "activated the 3D effect" means in this case. When something is put into the FAQ, it's best to be able to provide an exact prescription.
