I see the solar arrays are in different positions in your screenshots. Did you set them up to track the sun?

Alas, I would but I do not know. Someone might be deal when the addon will disponible.L ISS uses the orbit of celestia, are there a xyz file supplied by nasa?
There are a few animations with the SSRMS Canadarm and files with "q":
Sts-88 / STS-98 / STS-130
A heavy computer is required, i have just change my old graphic card with 512 mb now i have a geforce gx460 with 1gb ddr3: it run fine with antialiasing tuned to maximum.
The station appears after 24 sec on my screen to load textures ,
Now we can go inside the iss

Hello all, my first post here!
ISS Release 1 was already breath-taking for me, these pics of release 2 are really magnificent! Then I spotted this one sentence in this thread...
Long story short: the attached (zipped) SSC file should work in combination with Linuxm@n's ISS release 1 to make its solar panels sun-tracking.
Note that I made extensive use of reference frames, so I'm afraid it's only for Celestia 1.5.0 and higher - which is hopefully not a problem?
A few known issues:
In a future version I might tackle the other (large) radiators and Zvezda's solar panels.
I hope you'll like this - if you've got any comments or suggestions, feel free to let me know!

A few known issues:
- These modifications only take place after 21-03-2009, 12:00:00h, as only then all solar arrays are installed.
In reality sun-tracking is already enabled after the unfolding of the first array (P4 if I recall), but I
didn't want to redefine even more objects (such as the folded-up radiators and solar panels). - The panels are continuously sun-tracking, even when the ISS is in the Earth's shadow.
- The rotation axis of the S4 and P4 truss models does not align with the real-life rotation axis. This means
the interface between S4 and main ISS gets slightly misaligned, visible as a misalignment in the bearing rings.
I know how this could be solved but for that I need the exact coordinates of the S4 and P4 bearing rings' centres, and I don't have a good 3D CAD software for that...
In a future version I might tackle the other (large) radiators and Zvezda's solar panels.

I've constructed a PHP script that does the same as the excel sheet. I get the same results as the Excel sheet now. But the location of ISS doesn't match the position from this page

I asked Grant Hutchison (the author of the conversion spreadsheet) about this.

Is Celestia calculating the orbits for satellites differently than Stellarium does? Stellarium uses the same TLE's and it's projecting the position of satellites quite well in the right position.

Yes, Celestia and Stellarium work differently.
Celestia simply plots the orbital elements as they are given in the ssc file, and all my spreadsheet does is convert the unprocessed TLE data to Celestia format, so that Celestia can display a satellite in an orbit of the appropriate size and orientation. But the raw TLE data are "mean" data, and require some additional processing to give a precise position that's useful to observers.
Stellarium (IIRC, via a plug-in) actually executes the necessary Simplified Perturbation model on the TLE data so as to extract the exact (IIRC, ~kilometre accuracy) position of the orbiting body at the time of interest. You can take a look at the required maths here (1MB pdf).
That's the maths that would need to be coded into Celestia for it to handle TLEs in the way Stellarium does.

I want some sort of this configuration for me until the end of 2011.
