All know that in theroy fast rotating stars take on that egg shape due to fast rotation of the star...well I know how to make these possible in Celestia...
Mind you this example is just that...This star really is not a fast rotating star causing the egg shape that others do...

What I would like to see is a way to merge the atmosphere better with oblate stars/planets so that I can give this a better illumination...
btw, no coding was involved...this is a planet overlapping its star to give the appearence of an 'egg-shaped' star...
The other idea I had with deformed binary stars much like the hypothetical Ursa Major whos binary twins are so close gravity distorts thier spherical shapes...much like two eggs beside each other...These I could not do do to the fact I had to use a model (3ds) and there is not enough support for all of the material additives...I would like to see self-illumination added sometime in the future...that way I can bring this to life...
So this is the first step in a much anticipated view on deformed and binary stars!
Close binaries / Fast rotating Stars...
Close binaries / Fast rotating Stars...
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!
