Re: weird screen
Hi, WDJ. What is the screen glitch you are referring to? It looks like a normal Celestia window to me.
Celestia "remembers" several settings from one session to the following one. Among them are orbits, labels, clouds... The setting you have at the moment you exit Celestia will be in effect next time.

Re: weird screen
no it doesn't save setting they change every time I start and the display screen has been move about a quarter of an inch up so you can't see the entire object title and date and time
Re: weird screen
Oops! I had not realized that. I'm sorry. Did you update your graphics drivers recently? Have you tried reinstalling Celestia? Just guessing, though.wdj111 wrote:the display screen has been move about a quarter of an inch up so you can't see the entire object title and date and time

Re: weird screen
the driver is the one off the disk it came with. I reintalled and it now saves settings properly but the screen is still weird
Re: weird screen
wdj,
It isn't clear what you mean by "reinstalled it". Do you mean that you reinstalled the copy that was on the disk, or that you downloaded a copy of the newest driver from ATI/AMD and installed that? The latter is what you need to do. See http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
