Cloud map texture in Lunarcell. How to create it?

Post #1by romanvida » 22.12.2010, 19:24

Hi friends! I'm trying to create cloud map in photoshop/lunarcell, but my texture is not transparent. It covers all the surface of planet even the non-covered by clouds parts! Could anyone help me?

Well, I use Photoshop... The only easy way is to make 2 layers and create the cloud in the second layer.. (if there's a layer named 'background' and it's locked, just delete it and create 2 new layer.. That's what I normally do..)

Edit:
After you're done, right click on the second layer and choose 'merge visible'
Finally figured out how to add signature...

Here there are two (one-shot) Photoshop 8bf plugins for eliminating black/white.

http://www.dizteq.com/joestuff/freestuff.html

They makes the color-to-alpha procedure upon black or white. They are old, but works on PS7, thus should be work also on the recent versions.
Never at rest.

Thank everybody who helped me. Now the problem is resolved. Now I try to create coloured clouds (for extrasolar planet). I mean it wil not be a big problem. If so I'll write. :)
