What a joy!
As of today all my images from > 8.5 years of shatters.net activity are back. They formed an integral part of my > 8000 posts during that long time. The images were lost during that crash of the old shatters.net server machine.
Thanks to Chris' persistent rescuing efforts.

You mean the images which you have posted? I'm reading from time to time older threads with topics i have an interest for and it's often more than unenjoyable to find an empty place instead of a picture.

Yes. Over the years I prepared thousands (!) of images related e.g. to my Celestia code development, precision tests I did with Celestia, Astronomy/Cosmology and many other subjects of my > 8000 posts. Well prepared images help to make things better understandable.
I'll get hold of the whole lot very soon and certainly will make a backup over at CelestialMatters. Then I'll count them as well for curiosity
