I made Venus's clouds look a bit more like this picture from the Messenger spacecraft:

So I made the clouds a lot brighter

Thanks! I appreciate the texture.

John Van Vliet's texture is quite nice as well, definitely more aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure it's as realistic.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

I can't believe I didn't see this thread when it was first posted two years ago.
Ever since seeing the BBC docudrama Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets, I've been hoping for a high resolution Venus clouds. Thanks! :D
